Product Ownership & Management

Someone has to make the calls.

Product ownership and direction, worked out closely with your team.

We work closely with your team on product ownership and direction: what goes into the next release, what waits, and why. We make those calls together and write them down, so they can be explained later.

That holds whether we’re building the product or your team is. On products we build, we keep supporting and developing them after launch; your team can run as much of it day to day as it wants, and we stay involved.

What that involves

Decisions made in the open

The people who shape the product stay with it until it’s real, so the reasoning behind decisions doesn’t get lost between people.

Priorities with reasons

A first version with clear boundaries, and a reasoned order for what follows.

Trade-offs said plainly

If a feature is costing more than it gives, you hear it from us early.

A record of what we learned

What each prototype and release taught us, written down so decisions stay traceable.

Proof before investment

Decisions resting on evidence

Because building is faster, product decisions can rest on something people have used. A prototype proves the idea, a working tool shows what real use looks like, and production investment follows the evidence. For AI features, that evidence includes how often the output is right and what it costs when it isn’t.

Product Definition and Working Prototypes cover this in more depth, and the New Digital Products solution covers what happens after launch.
