Introduction

Before Axiom was a product, its founder ran six custom GPTs. They gave good advice, but each one started every conversation from scratch.

She has spent more than 20 years in staffing, and she knows where leaders struggle. The hard part of leading is rarely the plan. It’s knowing how to talk to each person on the team. Axiom brings together each person’s assessments and weekly check-ins to give leaders an early read on energy, direction and roadblocks, and advice on how to act on it.

The vision and the coaching method are hers. We shaped the product with her, designed the brand, worked through the rules for privacy and trust with her guidance, and built it.

01

The app

A few prompts a week, and a clear read on your team.

Employees answer a short set of prompts in a simple check-in, typed or spoken. Leaders see how each person is doing compared with their own baseline, so a quiet week from a quiet person doesn’t raise a false alarm.

02

Coaching that remembers

AI that knows the person you’re about to talk to.

The founder’s GPTs started from zero every time. Axiom keeps the context: each person’s assessments, their check-ins over time, and the threads left open last week. Ask how to approach a conversation, and the advice reflects both you and the person across the table.

Trust is built in. Leaders only get advice drawn from what they’re allowed to see, and the coach doesn’t hold on to personal matters like health or family.

Built with AI

Rebuilt from scratch in about two weeks.

The first working version was live 20 days after the go-ahead. For the second version, we wrote the product picture and specifications first, then built with Claude Code working through them. It went from an empty repository to production in about two weeks, built mostly by one developer.

  1. 01

    18 product specifications

    Broken into 109 buildable issues.

  2. 02

    Agents on the routine work

With people deciding at each checkpoint.

Where it stands

Axiom’s second version is live.

The Lift team ran an alpha, the feedback was strong, and the team wanted to keep using it. Several outside organizations have asked about it.

Client review

“I lost a good employee, and looking back, the signs were there. If something had nudged me early (‘this is looming, maybe consider a work-from-home arrangement’), I would have saved myself three months of pain. That’s what Axiom is built to do.”
