Project Vision + Roadmap

A plan grounded in something working.

Agreeing where a project is going and what comes first, with something working early.

We set the vision and the sequence at the start of an engagement, through discovery and workshops with your team: what success looks like, what comes first, and what can wait.

A roadmap can be a first phase on its own, sized to a budget or board approval. Where we can, we’d rather it include a working first step than be a long document.

What the plan contains

Short, specific and revisited

Each item has the reasoning behind it, so the plan can be explained to a board or reopened when something changes.

What success looks like

Something we can measure, or at least recognize, agreed before building starts.

Where to start

Opportunities weighed by effort and value, with a recommendation for the first one or two.

Risks tested first

The most uncertain part prototyped early, before the rest is built around it.

Why the plan moves

A plan that moves as the tools do

AI tools keep improving, so last spring’s hard problem can be this fall’s easy one, and a tool in use will suggest ideas nobody had at the start. We revisit the plan as the work goes. Because prototypes are cheap, the first steps can be tested with real people early.
