Founders & Growing Companies

Bring the idea before it’s finished.

Working prototypes in weeks, then the product behind them.

Founders often arrive with the nucleus of an idea: a product they can picture, a service customers keep asking for, a process that should be software. An idea at that stage is the right place to start, because a product takes its shape while it’s being built.

Money and time are short, there’s often no product or engineering team yet, and every month without something to show wears on conviction (yours and your investors’). So the first job is something working in front of real people. The durable version comes once it has earned the investment.

What keeps coming up, and what we do about it

  1. 01

An idea that’s hard to explain without a demo.

Investors, partners and early customers struggle to picture it, and a deck only goes so far.
    02

    Building the wrong thing well.

Months go into polishing a product nobody has used, and then the core assumption turns out to be wrong.

Put a working prototype in front of people

We define the core idea and build a working version, so you, your users and your investors can react to the real thing. From there it goes prototype, tool, production, with spending in proportion to the evidence.

  2. 03

A prototype that can’t grow up.

A fast first version, often assembled with AI tools, works but isn’t secure, reliable or ready for more users. It has gone as far as rough can go.

    Harden what’s working

Once a fast first version has proved itself, we add what it needs to hold up: proper sign-in, data handling, security and a consistent experience. We rebuild only where it’s worth it.

  3. 04

A product that works but doesn’t feel right.

Flows confuse people, screens don’t match, and the product doesn’t yet earn the trust of the people it needs to win.

    Make it read as real

Interface design, a design system and a clear brand bring a working product to the point where people trust it with their money or their data.

  4. 05

    A company built in pieces.

A different freelancer for the name, the site and the app leaves a company that doesn’t feel like one thing.

Design the company and the product together

When a company is new, the name, identity, website and product can be designed as one system, so everything a customer touches feels like the same organization.

  5. 06

No team to own the next phase.

Once the first version is live, there’s nobody to maintain it, extend it or decide what comes next.

Plan for who runs it next

We build on widely known tools and document the product, so your first hires can pick it up when they arrive. For Axiom Intelligence, we built the first version of its AI coaching product, which turns assessment data and weekly check-ins into an early read on how a team is doing. We made the brand and website too, and we still support the product month to month.

  • Usually within weeks. We start with the part of the idea that matters most and prototype that before investing in the rest.
